Who we are
Insider Guidebooks is operated by 2772267 Alberta Ltd., a corporation registered in Alberta, Canada ("we", "us"). You can reach us by replying to your order email. By buying or using a guide you agree to these terms.
What you are buying
Our guides are digital products: PDF files you download. Nothing is shipped. Each guide's page describes what it contains and its price.
Prices and payment
Prices are shown in US dollars and are charged once. There are no subscriptions or recurring charges. Payment is processed by Stripe; we never see or store your card number. Any taxes required by law are shown at checkout. Some guide pages offer a limited-time sale price to new visitors; the price you pay is the one shown at checkout.
Delivery
After payment you get a download button straight away, and we email you a download link. Links stay active for 30 days. If yours expires or you lose it, reply to your order email and we will send a new one free of charge.
Refunds
Every guide comes with a 30-day money-back guarantee. See our refund policy.
Your licence to use a guide
When you buy a guide, you get a personal, non-transferable licence to read it, keep it and print it for your own use. Please don't share, resell, upload or publish the file or its contents. The guides, their text, images and design are protected by copyright and belong to us.
Educational information only
Our guides share general information and practical experience. They are not legal, immigration, financial, tax or medical advice, and they are no substitute for a qualified professional who knows your situation. Laws, visa rules, prices and procedures change, and they differ by country. Check with the official offices and professionals the guides point you to before you act. Patterns described in the guides are common, never universal.
Age
Our guides are written for adults. You must be at least 18 to buy one.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of a guide or from decisions you make based on it. If we are ever found liable to you, our liability is limited to the amount you paid for the guide concerned. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection law that cannot be limited.
Changes
We may update these terms. The version that applies to your purchase is the one shown on this page on the day you bought.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta and the federal laws of Canada that apply there.
