Insider Guidebooks is operated by 2772267 Alberta Ltd., Alberta, Canada. This page explains what personal information we collect when you buy a guide, why, and what you can ask us to do with it.
What we collect
- When you buy: your email address, your name and country, which guide you bought, the amount, and the date. Stripe collects these at checkout and shares them with us so we can deliver your guide.
- Your card details: we never see or store them. Stripe handles all payment information.
- When you write to us: your email address and whatever you choose to write.
- When you visit our pages: our host records basic technical information (such as IP address and browser type) to keep the site secure and working. Our pages also save a small note in your own browser to remember a sale timer or a closed pop-up. This stays on your device; we don't use advertising or tracking cookies.
Why we use it
- To deliver your guide and send you your download link.
- To answer your questions and process refunds.
- To keep the business records the law requires (tax and accounting).
We don't sell or rent your information, and we don't send you marketing emails unless you ask us to.
How long we keep it
Download links expire after 30 days. We keep order records for as long as tax and accounting laws require (in Canada, generally six years), then delete them.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will update this page and the date at the top.
